Meet Our Pastor
Hi, I’m Tim, the pastor of Gracehouse Church NYC.Â
Ministry has always been close to home for me. I grew up in Queens in a family which God has called to ministry and service – a family with a heart for NYC, and spreading the gospel to any who would hear. Through that environment, God has steadily shaped my own calling to be a pastor.
Prior to serving at Gracehouse, I have been a youth pastor at several churches in Queens, and for the last 10 years I have served in the English Ministry of Joong Ang Presbyterian Church in Woodside. I received my MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary and am ordained under the KAPC.Â
Outside of church, life is pretty simple. I’m either at home enjoying being a girl-dad and raising my daughter with my wife, Sarah, or I’m teaching social studies to middle schoolers in the NYC DOE. It seems that God is always leading me to teach youth students, and honestly, that is something I feel particularly called to and passionate about – whether it’s about history, or the Word of God.
